Lets face it - we are busy, busy people. Finding a block of time each day to work out is daunting - particularly when you are just starting to get healthy. So I tell clients to focus on the "5 and 5." Do 5 minute spurts, 5 times a day. You'll be amazed at how good you feel and it really does work.
This morning, it's not yet 10 am and I've done 2 of my 5 spurts. Walking from my car to the airport was a hike and then after I missed my flight (security was extra long because of spring breakers) I decided to walk up and down the terminal for 5 min. Boom! My day is off to a great start.
At home, I like to do jumping jacks for 5 minutes. Believe it or not, that's a real cardio workout. Let me hear what works for you!
