Chances are if you are overweight, you are not in control. In fact, I believe that when we carry around excess weight - the actual weight is not the problem. It is the symptom. The problem is overwhelm.
Numerous causes of overwhelm exist. Financial struggles, demanding jobs and/or households, unrealistic expectations for ourselves, mental or physical health problems are all sources of unending stress. Some of you are experiencing more than one of these.
So, the fact that you've put on a few pounds isn't surprising - right? What's important is that we learn how to walk this back into manageable pieces before we spontaneously combust into a cloud of total and utter madness.
I am launching a 30 day overwhelm challenge to help guide you through the steps. If you are reading this after the launch date - no worries. Just start Day 1 whenever that day is for you. And, don't worry if you miss one --- that's the attitude that got you into this mess. Just pick-up and move on. One step at a time.
