BEGIN THE MERCILESS KILLING OF YOUR LIST
Today is quick and easy! Pull out your BRAIN DUMP from yesterday. Set your timer for 10 minutes. That's all you get and believe me, it's enough!
Look at your list. What can you do quickly? Are there things you can imagine yourself getting done today? Emails, returned phone calls, etc. Make a point to try and get those quick and easy ones off your list. It will give you a great sense of accomplishment. I like to cut and paste mine into a category at the bottom that says DONE. Click here to see my real time updated list.
Notice we are not adding more tasks to our lists. Did stuff come up yesterday that you need to do? Yes!
But adding it to your list will only contribute to your overwhelm. I find a lot of clients don't like lists because they LIVE FOREVER. Since, we are REDUCING overwhelm our focus right now is to KILL THE LIST! May the slashing begin!!!!
